Kara Hampton, OD

Dr. Hampton graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1995 after completing her undergraduate at Ohio Northern University. She has been the sole proprietor of Springboro Vision Center since 1998. She not only works in Springboro but also lives in Springboro and is an active and supportive member of the community. Dr. Hampton thoroughly enjoys getting to know every patient with the thought of being their eye doctor for life. She prides herself on the thoroughness and individualized attention of her exams.

Kimberly Smith, OD

Dr. Smith graduated from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 1994 and joined Springboro Vision Center in 2005. Dr. Smith loves eyecare so much she even married another optometrist. Eyecare certainly runs in her family. She is excited to be a vital part of Springboro Vision Center in helping to meet our goal of delighting our patients.

Karen Lee, O.D.

Dr. Lee completed her undergraduate coursework at Ohio Northern University, where she was a member of the varsity tennis team and a violinist in the symphony orchestra. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University College of Optometry and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa national honor society, American Optometric Student Association, and the Ohio Optometric Association.

Dr. Lee is pleased to provide eye care for children through adults. She enjoys getting to know each patient personally and is thrilled to be joining Dr. Hampton and Dr. Smith in being the "hometown eye doctors" in the community.

Our Office

We've expanded and remodeled our office to create a relaxing atmosphere unlike any doctor's office you've seen before. From the garden trellis reception desk to the outdoor veranda furniture to the complementary snack bar, you certainly won't feel like you are "at the doctor".

Dispensary

In our dispensary you are sure to find a fashionable frame that you will love. We carry many designer frames including Nine West, Oakley, Nike, J-Lo, Lulu Guinness, Juicy Couture, Banana Republic, Fossil, Timberland, Carrera, Liz Claiborne, Emprio Armani, Nautica and more.

Can't decide which awesome frame to choose? Give us a minute and with our Ipoint kiosk, you can view a photo of yourself in many different frames side-by-side. Still can't choose? We'll email a photo to a friend or family member for a third opinion.

Children's Frames

Have a child who is apprehensive about wearing glasses? They'll have fun choosing a frame from designers such as Nike and Disney in our exciting children's display.

Our children's dispensary is lacking some school spirit. Bring in a pennant or other school decoration, and we'll display it. Let's see which area school has the most spirit. The challenge is on!

Kid's Area

Your child will have a ball playing in our specially designed kid's area. Whether reading about glasses and eyes in one of our fun children's books, drawing a picture at our old fashioned school desk, leaving a message on the chalk board for another child to find, or playing the most recent nintendo Wii game... not only won't your child mind waiting while you receive your exam, they may not want to leave at all.

Eye Exam

We've paid as much attention to our exam rooms as we have the rest of our office. Relax in comfort while receiving your exam with state of the art equipment including Optomap technology with Dr. Hampton, Dr. Smith or Dr. Lee. A family member is welcome to join you while you receive your exam.
